Nordica Unleashed 98 CA

Playful shape, metal-free build. Skied it in Vermont, then broke it down at Pedigree with Brian Seiden—light, quick, and still plenty stable when you let it run.

🛠️ What’s new this year
CA construction drops the metal and adds carbon-fiber stringers. The carbon keeps the chassis lively and light while pinning the ski to the snow better than a metal-less layup normally would—more snap, less nervous at speed.

🎿 How it skis
Quick edge-to-edge with easy pivot in trees and bumps; playful and reactive underfoot. Carbon stringers add backbone so it tracks clean when you open it up—less bulldozer than the metal build, more energy and pop, still composed.

🎯 Who it’s for
• Skiers who want a lighter, playful Unleashed without metal but not jittery
• East Coast all-mountain riders mixing bumps, trees, and side hits
• Intermediates advancing to experts who value agility over max dampness
• Anyone debating CA vs. metal and leaning fun-first with real stability
