Blizzard Rustler 9
Light, quick, confident. Skied at Stratton, backed up on a groomer day at Jiminy, then a wall breakdown at Pedigree with Brian Seiden.
🛠️ What’s new this year
FluxForm construction balances soft-snow float with on-trail grip. Same intent as before, with a lighter, more responsive feel that still has bite when you stand on it.
🎿 How it skis
Quick to pivot in bumps and trees, clean edge hold when pressured on firm, and composed enough to open it up on the groomer back to the lift. Playful first—not a pushover.
🎯 Who it’s for
• East Coast all-mountain skiers who want agility without losing grip
• Advanced/intermediates to experts who live in bumps, trees, mixed snow
• Rustler 10 riders considering downsizing for faster edge-to-edge
• Skiers who value responsiveness over max top-speed dampness
📍 Where we skied it
Stratton, VT and Jiminy Peak, MA—real East Coast conditions.
🙏 Thanks
Brian Seiden and the Pedigree Ski Shop team for the wall breakdown. Cameo from Lauren, shout-out to Marc under the Blizzard tent.
